Neil Barrett need no introduction, his clothing speaks volumes about the the years of experience at famous fashion houses and the incredibly British eye that the designer has. This Wool blazer from the latest collection is an almost perfect garment, it has been made from the finest wool and the cut is slim and and perfectly tailored and to push this classic jacket in to the modern era, Neil Barrett has added tonal panels at the bottom of the sleeves which is a perfectly contemporary piece.

And just on a side not this is not the only Neil Barrett piece we have in today, so get ready for more.

Fred Perry has landed back in to the lap of Netclothing by Pilot once again and this time it is back with a collaboration with the legendary coin-op king Pacman. In recent years Fred Perry has stepped up its game and they have been collaborating with lots and lots of different people, whether it be with music stars like the late great Amy Winehouse or with the more obscure fashion houses like Surface 2 Air they have really delved in to modern culture to bring the brand up to speed.

So this Pacman collaboration has a almost vintage feel about it being as Pacman is something that you usually associate with the cooler side of the eighties, but in no means does it feel dated, the use of the Pacman graphic have bought this collection right up to date, i think that you will find it hard to find a more well balanced collaboration out there.

As you can probably tell from the photographs above we have just had in a little bit of Adidas Y3 and Adidas Originals. The boxes were a little more full than these pictures make out but everything was being tagged up as I tried to take it away for photographs so these two pieces were the only two bits I could get my hands on. Both pieces really speak for themselves and it is interesting to feel the Y3 t shirt next to a normal Adidas piece, the standard of quality is out of this world and you can see why sometimes spending that little extra bit of cash is worth every penny.

Departing a little from our usual clothing post is this quick one just to show you how insane the new Apple Mac Pro is looking. I don’t think anybody saw this coming from the Mac design team and to be honestly it has me re thinking my soon to be iMac purchase. Maybe it is just the design in fact it is only the design, I mean I’m sure I won’t be needing the kind of power this beast will pump out, but this has really taken my fancy. Let’s wait for the price though!

Pretty Green is a brand that might not be too adventurous in terms of cutting edge design but it is certainly a brand which can do the classic very well and their design team have a great eye for past trends and how to make them feel contemporary. This is all to apparent in the paisley shirt above, the use of the classic paisley pattern on a shirt which has modern touches.

And above that you can see a great basic hooded top made from thick and well presented marl fabric, I think these two pieces some up Pretty Green perfectly, one is a has a touch of nostalgia with contemporary touches and the other is just a great timeless basic. This balance will serve Pretty Green well in the future and it is a something that a lot of companies could take note of.

Trainerspotter has started to arrive on our doorstep and this little combo is a great reference point for the rest of the collection. As always Trainerspotter is producing quality and good looking clothing with a colourful edge, basically what they always have been doing, but you all know the old saying, if it’s not broken….

Elvis Jesus is a brand which is forever improving their design and quality of materials, this season they have really got in to their stride and I think this sweatshirt goes a long way to prove it. The fabric is the plushest of cotton marls and their attention to detail on the cut is fantastic, you just have to look at the cuffs on the arm to see this. Another touch which puts them ahead of a lot of their nearest rivals is the little statement on the in side of the bottom hem, this added extra is something that didn’t need to be done but it just goes to show the levels of design work that goes in to each piece.

Vivienne Westwood has just dropped a few new items threw our door this morning, and as always we are very happy to see them come in. If there is one thing that you cannot beat it is well made clothes with classic lines, and as always you get that little added touch with Vivienne Westwood, whether that’s an interesting use of pattern or contrasting colours, the years of experience they have always give them the edge over other brands.
