Adidas ambassador David Beckham has made his way through London's Heathrow Airport and shown that he is right up-to-date with current fashion trends.

The former Manchester United star is still on crutches following his recent Achilles tendon injury - attained while playing for AC Milan - but managed to remain stylish by sporting a denim jacket and jeans.

Beckham managed a smile for the waiting photographers, as he headed through the airport to catch a flight to Los Angeles, despite his injury almost certainly ruling him out of participating in this summer's World Cup.

Fans of the footballer could emulate his double denim look with a pair of Humor jeans and team them with a different style of denim for the jacket.

Designer Jason Trotzuk recently gave a word of warning to readers of the Globe and Mail, saying "you should never, ever wear two denims that match".
