Humour Aren’t the archetypal jeans-smiths they are actually doing things for themselves. Hoorah! Finally someone who isn’t doing things on trend, well they are but ultimately a bit ahead of trend. What I mean you see is that most popular brands, especially with the heritage collections, they don’t seem to realise that in actual fact yes you are doing your own thing but fashion, whether you like it or not has found you. So as they doth protest a bit too much with regards fashion’s heavy setting and their popularity will still peak and perish. Shame.

 

 

Humour’s takes a denim shirt and asks does this have a sense of humour, what do these jeans sound like, how much music does this hood hold. It sounds bizzare and it is only honoured allegorically but still you see the wit and endeavour in maintaining an alternative pattern of thought. Naturally it lends itself to some pretty outlandish designs, but the idea is to be as eye-catching as best suits you. Not everyone will be overlaid with a sense of humour, but even a slight accent, say the ‘Noller’ shorts, with an asymmetric drop would give you all you needed for you to step contently above and onto the parapet.

 

 

Not all of the design time has been given to creating Danish eccentricity, the Humour DNA as it has been coined, is in each product. It’s to say, ‘we want to make a bobble hat, so we get a bobble hat and stick Humour on it. No, we do it properly putting Humour into it.’ Even though the style element is in the arc legged Santiago the detail is appropriately thought too, the crotch is low without having the jeans cliffhanging well below the waist, with pockets suitably placed so you’re not tickling your knees to find a sky-diver.  The legs are pinched at the bottom so uncomfortable pin rolling or sock tucking isn’t necessary, I feel we have been spoilt somewhat. The silhouette is taken across the range, giving even humour pant chinos the makers mark. Enjoy.
