With summer ahead now could be the right time for men to invest in a pair of Lacoste trainers.

The brand with the famous crocodile has a variety of options available to suit any number of occasions that fashion-savvy men may encounter in the months ahead.

ShortList magazines has also had its eye on the brand and recently featured its leather mid-top trainers - made in collaboration with Bodega - in a run down of designs "taking trainers to the next level".

I've recently purchased a pair of Lacoste Estebans in white with red and blue trim detail and I think the mid-top design means they look equally at home with fitted jeans as they do with shorts and T-shirt.

With my summer holidays booked I've also decided its time to sort out my beachwear and the Lacoste Tirage 2 flip flop seems the perfect choice for a day by the sea.
