You awake dazed and disorientated; unaware, struggling for light you realise you are bound, blind folded and gagged. It’s cold and deliberate and the occasional warm air blows through the open space, that much you can tell. It’s below ground as the nocturnal echoes of dripping water fall and fall again. Suspended your limbs ache and sinews stretches to tear. This is a dark place.

 

The light strobes as rubber masks are removed and the jagged bass dumps air in peaks and troughs as senses are prone. Freed and unrestrained and standing adjusted to the ring of roses that appear in black and white, although roses they aren’t. The black and white icons strip the eyes, bleaching colour from the heavy set figures.

 

Long have had a three year acquaintance with dark and impacting prints and the basic use of black and white is almost as uncanny as it is simple. Even the ‘union’ tee consisting of four bars is simple and dramatic, I seem to be getting away with it a touch, but I think you’ll understand. The one size, no-sex prints, well unisex, that’s better, anyway they railroad any chino, pair of skinnys hell even you granddads shorts into sharp result.

 

The only thing I would say is be quick because they are selling! That’s after the few that are left hit the shelves, the Pilot staff have piled them under their arms and probably ran out the door before anyone noticed there wasn’t any left for the unbeknown happy baggers to wrap up and take home.
