Cruyff Trainers are the brainchild of the legendary Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff. Johan made his name at Spanish football club Barcelona where he played for several years and even went on to manage the club several years after he retired from playing.  Cruyff was a major part of the Dutch national football side of the 1970’s whose play was known as “Total Football” due to the sheer beauty of the way they played the game, Johan even has a move named after him the “Cruyff turn” which is still used by the most skilful players today.


Upon retiring from playing, coaching and managing he needed a new challenge but wanted to stay in a role somehow related to sport. The result was working full time for his Cruyff brand that he had first created back in 1979 whilst still at Barcelona.


The fantastic range of footwear includes leather trainers with model names such as Astro which were created for 5 a side courts and Astroturf in particular, the Dennis Bergkamp range named after the legendary former Arsenal striker, The Recopa range and the Vanenburg.
