It’s hard to believe that Diesel was founded back in 1978, particularly as Rene Russo the creator of the Diesel Jeans brand can definitely be labelled as one of the pioneers of the denim movement. The company have consistently experimented and innovated with the way their premium denim jeans production, using different cottons, dye’s and cuts to produce cutting edge denim to keep them ahead of the fashion game. Indeed during their formative fashion career’s Dean and Dan Caten (the twin brothers behind the Super Label DSquared2) were employed by Russo to head up the creative side of Diesel to a highly positive effect. Despite being 30 years old the label still has a cult following and continues to hold a large market share within the denim sector. This has allowed the company to expand its offerings to include a Diesel Footwear division which includes a fantastic selection of Diesel Trainers. Complimenting the denim range is a collection of Diesel Clothing consisting of Diesel Shirts, T-Shirts and Polo Shirts.
