DSquared was founded in 1984 by two Canadian brothers Dean and Dan Caten.
These twin brothers shared the same vision, which was to create and design
a luxury brand of clothing that would meet all of the modern man’s needs.
In 1983 they both re located to New York City where they attended the
Parson’s School of Design.


In 1994 they had their first men’s collection show, which took place
Italy.  It was a huge success and marked the first of many extravagant
collections to be released by these quirky designers. With their attention
to detail each garment designed by these talented brothers has a unique
style that gives them individuality and keeps them at the forefront of the
current highly demanding Fashion market.


Recently the latest DSquared collections that have been released have been
aimed towards a broader audience and have become slightly more
sophisticated and chic compared to their earlier collaborations.


Irrelevant to their Canadian decent all Dsquared clothing has a slight
Italian feel, with their fine Italian tailoring and the high quality
materials they use. Both Dean and Dan, whom split their limited time
between Milan and London, have one philosophy “Born in Canada, living in
London, made in Milan”
