Nudie Jeans is a premium denim brand that is one of a growing number of up and coming Scandinavian brands that are taking the UK fashion scene by storm. The company has come a long way since it was first launched in 2009. The founder of the company was a lady with a long experience within the denim industry, Maria Erixsson who had previously worked for the prestigious jeans company Lee and another Swedish denim brand JC.


Despite being a Swedish launched company, their production and manufacturing can most definitely be described as international. As with most of the premium designer clothing manufacturers the jeans are manufactured in Italy with the specialist denim cottons sourced from the finest mills in Japan and Turkey.


Nudie specialise in dry selvage jeans and even have a specialist selvage lab whereby they use vintage denim and designs from their collection to create a range of limited edition jeans. Their collection of jeans is quite vast with a different set of fittings and finishes to appeal to all shapes and tastes. These include the Average Joe which has a straight leg and straight fit, the Big Bengt which has a regular waist with a straight leg and narrow bottoms, Fast Freddy which is their loosest fit, Slim Jim which has a normal waist alongside a narrow tube fitting leg and Thin Finn which is a skinny jeans style.


Alongside their fantastic range of jeans, Nudie also produce a range of clothing which includes t-shirts, shirts and jackets.
