Although the denim industry is highly congested with old, new and emerging brands competing aggressively for market share, one brand in particular can most definitely be said to be the king of premium denim and that brand is PRPS Jeans. The inspiration behind the brand was a former marketing executive of the sports wear brand Nike who was also a very keen denim enthusiast. Looking to market a different product to what was already on the market, the company sourced the finest cotton and fabrics from Harare in Zimbabwe and coupled these with vintage denim looms, previously used by Levi Strauss and Co. The result was a premium jeans collection that comes in at a premium price, yet are worth every penny invested by the prospective owner. Popular cuts with the PRPS Jeans collection including the PRPS Barracuda which has a relaxed straight leg cut and the PRPS Rambler which has a tapered leg.
