One of the most famous brands of designer eyewear Rayban Sunglasses have been making men’s and ladies ever since 1937 when they were founded by business partners Bausch and Lomb. The company was first approached in its year of formation to design sunglasses for the US Air Force to protect their pilots from damaging sun rays during flights. The original products were so successful that they were used heavily during the Second World War and the same style the Ray Ban Aviators is still hugely popular to the present day. In recent years the company was bought by the sunglasses distributor Luxotica who have taken over distribution and ownership of the brand. Popular styles within their collection include Ray Ban Wayfarers and Aviators.
