Born in 1925, the Superga canvas vulcanized shoe marked the beginning of what was soon to become a real passion for footwear. In the next 80 years Superga made shoes for every occasion and usage. From vulcanized, to work boots, rubber boots, technical sport shoes, casual shoes, dress shoes, slippers and sandals for all ages and consumers. Superga soon became known worldwide as "the italian footwear brand" which led to the conviction that Superga ought to take on the role of PEOPLE'S SHOES OF ITALY. In the line with the century-old tradition and culture of Superga, five families of footwear products have been identified: CITY: includes all casual, leisure-time shoes. Characterised by the "S" Logo branded on the shoe. VULCANIZED: characterised by the little Superga flag (or bandierina), this category includes all shoes made using the rubber vulcanisation process. The product range goes from fashion to traditional classic. SPORT: all technical shoes for engaging in sports. Characterised by the swallowtail Superga logo. COUNTRY: this family of "country" footwear, such as outdoor, hunting, fishing, hiking is characterised by the oval rayed Superga logo. SOLID: technical shoes for construction work and industry. Characterised by the Superga Solid oval logo. |
