Adidas trainer fans could be excited to hear the company is branching out and trying to increase the range of items it offers.

One market that could help the brand to expand further on a global basis is China.

The country is already the second-largest worldwide market for Adidas and made up nine per cent of its global sales last year.

Christophe Bezu, managing director of the Adidas Group in China, told China Daily he is "very optimistic" about the brand's future performance.

Fashion-conscious men may also be pleased to hear that Reebok, part of the Adidas group, has announced an alliance with Emporio Armani to create a unique collection - the EA7.

"We are very much looking forward to working with a fashion house as renowned as Giorgio Armani," Mr Bezu added.

Men looking to buy some new items in time for summer could opt for items from the Adidas O by O collection, which has seen the likes of David Beckham and designer James Bond working together.
