A new Adidas Originals collection has been launched following a collaboration with designer Jeremy Scott. The creative work of Scott - who has attracted the praise of pop star Lady Gaga and model Agyness Deyn - has been showcased at the Brother and Sister store in Hong Kong. Included in the unique collection of Adidas footwear is trainers with tassels, three tongues and even a pair with wings, ensuring that anyone lucky enough to get their hands on a pair will stand out from the crowd. Hong Kong Hustle said of the event: "While some fashion designers tone down their creations in collaborations, Jeremy Scott channels the same unconventional, reinvent-the-wheel spirit from his high fashion line to his collection with Adidas." His collection was spread across one wall of the store and the website described Scott as a "genius at work". The rich cultural history of Adidas footwear was recently highlighted by Noreen Mae Ritsema, writing for newspaper the Manitoban, when she suggested that the Superstar shoe is "enduringly popular".
