Football fans may be able to pick up some style tips from Adidas-sponsored teams at this summer's World Cup.

With momentum building for the tournament - held in South Africa - sports lovers might wish to try and emulate their heroes both on and off this pitch this summer.

Adidas is one of the official sponsors of the World Cup and with the company spending more than ever it aims to target $1.8 billion (£1.1 billion) in sales this year.

"All eyes are focused on it from a company standpoint, so we want to make sure that we spend the right amount of money on it and hit it from every facet whether its TV, digital or PR events," says Adidas' Director of Soccer Antonio Zea told Forbes.

Men taking part in sporting activities this summer could be interested in purchasing a range of Adidas Originals clothing including T-shirts, tracktops and trainers.
