Adidas ambassador David Beckham has stated that he hopes to make a quick recovery from a snapped tendon in his left leg. The former Manchester United footballer was reduced to tears on Sunday evening as he suffered the injury while playing for AC Milan. It'll be a disappointment to the player that last night could potentially be his last on-the-field action for a considerable amount of time, especially as he seems certain to miss the World Cup. There were tears for the superstar as he left the ground in his Adidas clothing and he now faces an operation in Finland which will discover the full extent of the injury and could decide whether he plays again. Beckham left his hotel in Milan on crutches - accompanied by his father Ted - and despite the injury he showed that he remains as stylish as ever by teaming dark blue jeans with a light blue denim jacket.
