Adidas filmed an original advertising campaign in Liverpool city centre yesterday (May 6th).

To mark the launch of the new Liverpool strip - which will be worn by the club next season - the brand filmed a mass shirt swap, with kits given away to lucky passers by.

Williamson Square was filled with supporters as the commercial was filmed throughout the day and onlookers also got involved, reports the Liverpool Daily Post.

A spokesperson for Adidas said: "The shirt swap is a fresh and innovative idea. We thought it would work well in Liverpool and it's been really well received."

He added the brand used a mix of 50 extras and 50 genuine Liverpool supporters, who the club contacted.

Men might wish to stay one step ahead in the fashion stakes this summer with an Adidas Originals tracktop.

A new range of retro World Cup jackets is available for teams including Brazil, France and Sweden.
