Lacoste-sponsored tennis player Andy Roddick sported the distinctive green crocodile at a unique tournament on Saturday (April 10th).

The American player was one of the big-name participants in the Caesars Tennis Classic in Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall this weekend.

Roddick - a man only slightly more famed for his tennis ability than his Lacoste cap - took on sporting legend Pete Sampras and won the one-set match 6-4.

Men may wish to get the sporty look this summer and could emulate Roddick by teaming a Lacoste polo shirt with a pair of shorts.

Ivan Lendl, who lost 6-3 to Mats Wilander, was the subject of an amusing comment from emcee Justin Gimelstob that it was a relief he was no longer wearing the tight shorts he sported in the 1980s and 1990s.

Roddick has recently been snapped as the latest celebrity to promote the Lacoste Challenge fragrance, following in the footsteps of actor Hayden Christensen.
