Adidas Footwear has a history of classic designs that are unafraid to re-invent themselves.

One such example of this is the consistently stylish Adidas Forest Hills which date back to the 1970s but always look right up to date.

A new colourway could spark the imagination for Adidas fans, without compromising its roots, as Retro to Go reports that "the tennis shoe turned terrace classic trainer....still has that sole created with NASA-developed technology".

However, this time around the distinctive three stripes are in sunshine yellow, while it also now comes with an "aluminium nubuck upper with punched detailing" and signal blue soles, the blog adds.

Adidas launched its Forest Hills trainers in 1977 in acknowledgement of the superstar tennis players of the generation and in return they offered the player an improved grip and added style while they were on the courts.

It may no longer be a cutting-edge tennis shoe but it's still ideal for the streets.
