Nike-clothing fan Dizzee Rascal is among the big names announced for this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals.

The London-born artist will play the Saturday night (28th August) at Reading and the Friday night at Leeds.

Fans of the rapper may wish to catch him on the same lineup as The Arcade Fire, The Libertines, The Cribs, The Maccabees and a host of other big names but could be wise to move quickly to ensure that they secure their ticket for the event.

The news follows the announcement the Bonkers performer will headline this year's Global Gathering on Saturday July 31st at Long Marston Airfield joined by the likes of 2ManyDJs, Chase and Status, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold and Booka Shade.

Rascal has made his love of the brand known over the years, referencing the nikeairforce 1 on one his breakthrough tracks - from debut album Boy In Da Corner - Fix Up, Look Sharp.
