Football fans looking for fashion tips could be heading to the tattoo parlour after England striker Wayne Rooney revealed his latest design.

Known for his Nike clothing, the Manchester United star revealed a new tattoo in honour of his son Kai after England's friendly match against Mexico last night (May 24th) in preparation for the team's World Cup campaign.

According to the Mirror, the eagle motif is placed between his shoulder blades and was on show after Rooney swapped shirts with the central American team following England's 3-1 victory.

The footballer, who will act as captain for England during the World Cup, is hoping to impress his new son by leading the country next month.

Nike recently revealed that it expects global sales to be up by 40 per cent by 2015, thanks to the popularity of its subsidiary brands, such as Converse, and the proposed launch of new stores across the world.
