The famous Nike swoosh was missing from the end of its latest star-studded advertising campaign for some ITV viewers.

Nike's latest three-minute long commercial is the brand's main commercial push ahead of this summer's World Cup in South Africa and made its debut during Saturday (May 22nd) night's Champions League final.

However, in some regions of the UK the advert was accidentally cut short by around six seconds, a possible disappointment to Nike as the brand is highlighted during the final moments.

"We have had over five millions views of the Write the Future film in the last four days on our YouTube channel alone, so we are confident that the fans knew what they were watching," said a spokesman for Nike.

He added that despite this, it is disappointing to hear the ad was cut short and that discussions are set to take place to discover what happened.
