Tiger Woods will be once again donning his Nike trainers as he returns to competition at the Memorial Tournament next week.

The golfer has been out of action since withdrawing from the final round of the Players Championship on May 9th due to a neck injury, but will be walking out onto the greens again when the competition starts on May 31st.

Woods is still the current world number one and will be defending his title at the Muirfield Village Golf Club, where the contest will be hosted by Jack Nicklaus, the Golf Channel reports.

Fans of the golfer, who has 14 major titles under his belt, will also be able to see him sport his Nike clothing at next month's US Open at Pebble Beach, where he will hoping to add one more to his winnings.

A multi-million-pound Nike advert featuring Christiano Ronaldo was recently cut short by six seconds following a transmission error by ITV, the Daily Mail reports.
